The International School of Minnesota is excited to welcome four Ukrainian students to join the school in the Fall of 2022. These four students have been selected to receive full tuition, and room and board scholarships to attend ISM.

On August 13, 2022, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Parent Connection in partnership with The Ria Patel Foundation will be hosting a fundraising event to help offset some of the additional costs the students will need when they arrive in The United States. Parent Connection is a 501c(3) organization with the mission of providing enrichment opportunities for students through the appropriate use of fundraising. Parent Connection has been generous in its collaboration with the ISM community to ensure that students fleeing Ukraine have the opportunity for a high level of education in The United States.

The Ria Patel Foundation was created by an ISM Alum in 2017. Over the past months, through a grant given by Hennepin County, the foundation has been able to purchase groceries for refugee families in the Twin Cities area to encourage families to continue educating their children and continuing to work. Through their work and our partnership, we are excited to provide an authentic lunch for Ukrainian refugees and their friends.
