Okean Elzy
Okean Elzy is the most famous and most decorated Ukrainian rock band. Okean Elzy has been recognized many times as the best rock-and live-band of the CIS by their admirers and music critics. Okean Elzy’s records always resonate with their listeners and become an event not only for music lovers in Ukraine, but for the community as a whole.
The Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus Concert
You're invited to join us for a special event as the Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus of North America (UBC) returns to Minnesota.
They will be presenting the new concert program, "Все буде Україна -- Ukraine Lives!", featuring the mesmerizing sounds of the bandura, a traditional 60-stringed instrument from Ukraine.
This performance is more than just music—it's a celebration of Ukraine's cultural heritage and resilience. By attending, you'll not only enjoy an evening of captivating music but also support important cause - the mission of the Protez Foundation to help Ukrainians who lost limbs during the war.

Antytila: “Culture vs War”, Minneapolis
Join us for special events in the US featuring the Ukrainian rock band Antytila as part of their “Culture vs. War” Project. Created to rally support for Ukraine through stories of heroism and the sounds of courage and hope in a brutal war, this unique event will highlight Ukraine's heroic struggle and support its Defense Forces through culture and music.
23rd Ukrainian Festival of Minnesota
Join us on Friday and Saturday, September 20-21, 2024 to celebrate Ukrainian culture and traditions by experiencing dance, music, food and drinks in the company of an open and welcoming community. This year’s festival features a special presentation and acoustic performance by the Ukrainian band Antytila!
Admission is free, however, freewill donations are welcome and will support humanitarian aid for Ukraine.

Commemoration and Exhibit – Ukraine: War and Resistance
At a time when Ukraine is passing a decade of defending its sovereignty and after two years of protecting the world’s democracy since the start of the full-scale invasion, let us all band together and Believe In Ukraine! The future we believe in is one of Ukrainian victory and liberation.
Stand together with Fulbright Scholars, Ukrainian community members and friends of Ukraine in the MN State Capitol Rotunda (75 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55155) on February 24th as we illuminate hope and show solidarity with the brave Ukrainian people.
Charity Dinner Benefiting Protez Foundation

A concert of songs about loss and courage performed by Patricia Kent, Justin Anthony Spenner, Lara Bolton, YEV, and UVB. Following the concert program will be a Ukrainian Folk dance party led by the incredible Ukrainian Village Band!$12 at the door, free to dance!
All proceeds and donations go directly to Stand with Ukraine MN, an organized initiative coordinating activists and volunteers to support Ukraine's struggle for liberty and sovereignty.
Stand With Ukraine: Postering Campaign in the Twin Cities
On August 19th, come to the Ukrainian Center (301 Main St. NE, Mpls, 55413) to pick up signs and posters to be placed around the city. These posters will help to raise awareness about Ukraine's continued fight against Russian aggression, its genocidal actions and threats that transcend Ukraine's borders.

We will also acknowledge the steadfast support of our generous donors and volunteer organizations who have stood by Ukraine during its struggles.
Writers, Poets, & Musicians Against the War on the Earth and for the People of Ukraine
In 1966, Minnesota poet and writer Robert Bly co-founded American Writers Against the Vietnam War and was an opposition leader among writers. His wife Ruth Bly is carrying on the tradition with a new cause at heart—the environment. A talented group of local poets and musicians is inviting everyone to gather at ASI to honor all of creation in spoken word and song.

War Stories from Ukraine
Come and listen to war stories told by the real heroes. The conversation will be conducted in Ukrainian with English interpretation.
The Ukrainian Soldiers who are receiving prosthetics from the Protez Foundation will share their personal stories from the war and answer audience questions in a townhall format.

Ruslan Horovyi is a Ukrainian journalist, author of the “Children’s Search Service” TV-show (since 2001), documentary director, writer (11 editions since 2002). Liudmyla Horova is a Ukrainian writer, author of a famous song You'll feel it enemy.

The International School of Minnesota is excited to welcome four Ukrainian students to join the school in the Fall of 2022. These four students have been selected to receive full tuition, and room and board scholarships to attend ISM.
